A simple and delicious BBQ Pulled Pork recipe made easy with a slow cooker, perfect for gatherings and cozy family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 34 lbs pork shoulder
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Buns for serving
  • Coleslaw for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine the chopped onion, minced garlic, smoked paprika, brown sugar, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper in a slow cooker.
  2. Place the pork shoulder on top of the seasonings and pour the BBQ sauce over it.
  3. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 8-10 hours until the pork is tender.
  4. Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks.
  5. Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and mix it with the remaining sauce.
  6. Serve the pulled pork on buns and top with coleslaw if desired.
