A warm and comforting dessert featuring juicy blueberries topped with a buttery, crunchy oat mixture.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine fresh blueberries with half of the brown sugar and a sprinkle of cinnamon, then pour into a baking dish.
  3. Mix together rolled oats, flour, remaining brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in another bowl.
  4. Stir the melted butter into the oat mixture until it resembles a crumbly texture.
  5. Spread the oat mixture evenly over the blueberries.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and the blueberries are bubbling.
  7. Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat at 350°F for 10-15 minutes.
