Indulge in these nostalgic Caramel Pecan Brownies, rich with chocolate, creamy caramel, and crunchy pecans.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the sugar until well combined and cool slightly before adding the eggs.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, and then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chopped pecans.
  6. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
  7. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the brownie batter.
  8. Pour the remaining brownie batter on top and drizzle the rest of the caramel sauce over it.
  9. Swirl the caramel into the batter with a knife to create marbling.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
