Grilled shrimp marinated in zesty lime and chili powder, perfect for outdoor gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • Skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Coat the Shrimp: Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for about 15-30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Skewer the Shrimp: Thread the marinated shrimp onto the skewers.
  5. Grill to Perfection: Grill the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until they are pink and opaque.
  6. Serve with Love: Remove from the grill and serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.

Notes

Ensure the grill is well-heated to prevent sticking. Soak wooden skewers beforehand to avoid splintering.
