Double Chocolate Brownies

Rich, fudgy brownies bursting with chocolatey goodness and topped with chocolate chips. A family favorite for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat.
  3. Combine the melted butter, sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs; mix until smooth.
  4. Mix in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt until smooth.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  8. Cool on a wire rack before cutting into squares.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an extra special treat.
