A nostalgic dessert featuring creamy vanilla ice cream wrapped in a crispy cornflake coating and fried to perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 quart of vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup crushed cornflakes
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

  • Whipped cream (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Scoop the vanilla ice cream into balls and freeze them until solid.
  2. Create the batter by combining the flour, eggs, and milk in a bowl.
  3. Prepare the coating by rolling each ice cream ball in the flour mixture, dipping it into the batter, and coating it with the crushed cornflakes.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or heavy pan until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry the coated ice cream balls for about 10-15 seconds until golden brown.
