Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  2. Place chicken in a resealable bag and pour marinade over it. Seal and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove chicken from the marinade and discard the leftover marinade.
  5. Grill chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Remove chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

Marinating overnight can enhance the flavors. For the best grill marks, avoid moving the chicken too early on the grill.
