Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 lemons (juice and zest)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the Marinade: In a bowl, mix lemon juice, lemon zest, olive oil, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well combined.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Marinate the chicken breasts in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the Grill: Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the Chicken: Place the marinated chicken breasts on the grill. Grill for 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Serve with Fresh Lemon Wedges: Remove chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes, then serve with fresh lemon wedges.

Notes

For a more intense flavor, consider marinating the chicken overnight. If you don’t have a grill, you can bake the chicken at 375°F for about 25-30 minutes.
