Ingredients

  • 2 slices of ham
  • 2 slices of turkey or chicken
  • 2 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter for frying
  • Powdered sugar (optional)
  • Jelly or syrup for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Assemble Your Sandwich: Layer the slices of ham, turkey, and Swiss cheese between the two slices of bread, ensuring an even distribution.
  2. Whisk the Egg Mixture: In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Heat the Skillet: Place a skillet over medium heat and add butter, allowing it to melt and bubble.
  4. Dip the Sandwich: Carefully dip the assembled sandwich into the egg mixture, coating both sides.
  5. Fry the Sandwich: Cook the sandwich in the skillet for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cheese is melty.
