A heartwarming dessert featuring juicy peaches topped with a buttery oat crumble, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine sliced peaches, granulated sugar, and lemon juice in a bowl. Stir gently and pour into a greased baking dish.
  3. Mix together flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in another bowl. Stir in the melted butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Spread the crumble mixture evenly over the peach filling.
  5. Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the peaches are bubbling.
  6. Serve warm, preferably with vanilla ice cream on top.

Notes

Choose ripe peaches for the best flavor. For added texture, consider adding nuts to the crumble topping.
