Sopapilla Cheesecake Bars

Delightful Bars with a creamy filling wrapped in flaky crescent roll dough, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans of crescent roll dough
  • 2 (8 oz) packages of cream cheese
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup of butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup of sugar (for topping)
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Unroll one can of crescent roll dough into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  3. Beat together the cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Spread over the crescent roll layer.
  4. Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough over the cream cheese layer.
  5. Pour the melted butter over the top layer. Combine the remaining 1/2 cup of sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle over the butter.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for a smoother mixture. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
