A classic breakfast dish combining rich steak with creamy eggs for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 steak (e.g., ribeye or sirloin)
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons oil or butter
  • Optional: garlic, herbs for seasoning

Instructions

  1. Season the steak generously with salt and pepper, ensuring every inch is coated.
  2. Heat the pan by melting 2 tablespoons of oil or butter over medium-high heat until hot.
  3. Sear the steak in the pan for 3-5 minutes on each side until desired doneness is reached.
  4. Rest the steak on a cutting board for at least 5 minutes before slicing.
  5. Cook the eggs in the same pan until they reach your preferred style.
  6. Plate the sliced steak, topping it with the eggs so the yolks cascade down.
  7. Serve immediately, optionally adding hot sauce or fresh herbs.
