Rich, chocolatey brownies bursting with fresh strawberries for a delightful summer treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • Optional: powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8Ɨ8 inch baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal later.
  2. Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Combine the melted butter and sugar in another bowl, mixing until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped strawberries.
  6. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it out evenly.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the brownies cool in the pan before cutting into squares and dusting with powdered sugar.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature; pair with vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of chocolate sauce.
