Strawberry Shortcake Trifle

A delicious layered dessert combining fresh strawberries, whipped cream, vanilla pudding, and pound cake, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 pound of pound cake, cubed
  • 1 cup of vanilla pudding

Instructions

  1. Whip the heavy cream with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  2. Layer the pound cake cubes at the bottom of a trifle dish or individual cups.
  3. Add a layer of creamy vanilla pudding over the pound cake.
  4. Assemble with a generous layer of whipped cream on top of the pudding.
  5. Layer in the sliced strawberries for freshness and color.
  6. Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used, finishing with whipped cream and strawberries on top.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Use cold tools when whipping the cream for best results.
