A heartwarming dish of bell peppers filled with a savory mix of ground turkey, rice, and Italian seasoning, perfect for cozy family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 4 large bell peppers
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
  3. SautƩ chopped onions and minced garlic in a skillet until soft.
  4. Add the ground turkey to the skillet and cook until browned.
  5. Stir in the cooked rice, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. Stuff the turkey mixture into the hollowed-out bell peppers.
  7. Top with shredded cheese if desired.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  10. Serve hot, straight from the oven.

Notes
