Delicious and customizable turkey taco bowls, perfect for any night of the week, filled with savory turkey, rice, and fresh toppings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1 cup cooked rice (or quinoa)
  • 1 cup black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup corn, cooked
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • Sour cream (optional)
  • Fresh cilantro (optional)

Instructions

  1. Sauté the ground turkey in a skillet over medium heat until browned and fragrant, then add taco seasoning.
  2. Begin layering your bowls by placing cooked rice (or quinoa) at the base.
  3. Add the seasoned turkey on top of the rice.
  4. Build the bowl with black beans and corn for added nutrition.
  5. Freshen it up with diced tomatoes and shredded lettuce.
  6. Garnish with shredded cheese, sliced avocado, sour cream, and cilantro. Serve immediately.

Notes

Customize with different toppings and bases such as cauliflower rice or additional vegetables.
