A delightful Caprese Chicken featuring juicy chicken breasts topped with fresh tomatoes and mozzarella, drizzled with balsamic glaze.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 2 large tomatoes, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and add the chicken breasts.
  4. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish.
  6. Layer tomato slices on top of the chicken followed by mozzarella slices.
  7. Drizzle balsamic vinegar over the dish.
  8. Bake for about 25-30 minutes until chicken is cooked through and cheese is bubbly.
  9. Serve warm, garnished with additional basil.
