A hearty and colorful taco salad filled with ground beef, fresh veggies, and delicious toppings, perfect for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 head of lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • Tortilla chips, for serving
  • Salsa and sour cream, for topping

Instructions

  1. Sauté the beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Season the meat by draining excess fat and adding the taco seasoning, cooking according to package instructions.
  3. Prepare the veggies by combining chopped lettuce, halved cherry tomatoes, shredded cheese, black beans, olives, and diced avocado in a large bowl.
  4. Combine the cooked beef with the veggies until well mixed.
  5. Serve in bowls topped with tortilla chips, salsa, and sour cream.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free taco seasoning and tortilla chips. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
