A refreshing and creamy mango sorbet, perfect for hot summer days.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop the mangoes, discarding the pit.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar and water, stirring until it comes to a gentle simmer.
  3. Once the sugar is completely dissolved, remove the saucepan from heat and allow the syrup to cool to room temperature.
  4. In a blender, combine the cooled syrup, chopped mangoes, and lime juice. Blend until smooth.
  5. Pour the mango mixture into a container and place it in the freezer, stirring every hour for about 4 hours until it reaches a scoopable consistency.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks. Let sit out for a few minutes before serving for easier scooping.
