A delightful mixture of fresh berries, fluffy cake, and creamy pudding, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • Mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
  • Vanilla pudding mix
  • Milk
  • Whipped cream
  • Angel food cake (or sponge cake)
  • Mint leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the vanilla pudding according to package instructions using milk. Allow it to cool completely in the fridge while you prep the other ingredients.
  2. Cut the angel food cake into bite-sized cubes, ensuring they’re soft enough to soak up all the delicious flavors but sturdy enough to hold their shape.
  3. Layer in a large trifle dish or individual cups, starting with cake cubes, followed by mixed berries, then a layer of vanilla pudding. Repeat until you reach the top!
  4. Top with whipped cream, creating a fluffy cloud over your trifle.
  5. Garnish with fresh mint leaves for a pop of color and freshness.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 120 minutes before serving to meld flavors.

Notes

Use fresh berries for the best flavor. You can make the pudding and cake a day ahead, just layer them when you’re ready to serve.
