Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound flank steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Create the Flavorful Marinade: In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ground ginger to make the marinade. Whisk them together until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is well-blended.
  2. Marinate the Steak Bites: Add the bite-sized flank steak pieces to the marinade. Ensure each piece is well-coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the Cooking Surface: Preheat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat.
  4. Sizzle and Cook the Steak: Once hot, add the marinated steak bites to the skillet or grill. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Once cooked, remove the steak bites from the heat and garnish them with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

For maximum flavor, marinate for up to 2 hours.
