Baked Parmesan Salmon

A quick and elegant dish of baked salmon fillets topped with a creamy Parmesan crust.

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Create the Parmesan mixture by mixing grated Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt and pepper in a small bowl.
  3. Prepare the salmon fillets by placing them skin-side down on a lined baking sheet.
  4. Spread the creamy Parmesan mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving if desired.

Notes

Choose fresh or sustainably sourced salmon for the best results. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
