  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the blackberries with 1/4 cup of sugar and lemon juice, and set aside.
  3. Mix together the flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  4. Stir in the milk and melted butter until smooth.
