- 1 package (12 ounces) Oreo cookies
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 packages (3.9 ounces each) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 4 cups milk
- 1 container (12 ounces) Cool Whip
- Gummy worms (for garnish)
Instructions
- Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs and set aside.
- Beat the softened cream cheese and butter together until creamy.
- Add the powdered sugar to the bowl and mix until well combined.
- Whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and milk for about 2 minutes until thickened.
- Fold the pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
- Stir in the Cool Whip gently to lighten the mixture.
- Layer the pudding mixture and crushed Oreo cookies in a serving dish or cups.
- Top the dessert with gummy worms for garnish.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
For finer crumbs, slightly freeze Oreos before crushing. Homemade whipped cream can be used instead of Cool Whip.
