A comforting and flavorful slow-cooked pulled pork recipe that is perfect for gatherings and busy days.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds pork shoulder
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Begin by placing the sliced onions and minced garlic at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Rub the pork shoulder generously with paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Pour the BBQ sauce and chicken broth over the pork.
  4. Cover your slow cooker and set it to cook on low for 8 hours.
  5. Once the cooking time is over, carefully shred the pork with two forks.
  6. Serve the pulled pork on fluffy buns or alongside your favorite sides.

Notes

Leftover pulled pork can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
