A refreshing and creamy dessert featuring a crunchy pretzel crust, rich cream cheese layer, and vibrant strawberries.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 2 cups strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups cold water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar until well combined. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan and bake for 10 minutes. Once baked, let the crust cool completely.
  2. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in the whipped topping until just combined. Spread this luscious mixture evenly over the cooled pretzel crust.
  3. In a separate bowl, dissolve the strawberry gelatin in the boiling water, stirring until fully melted. Add in the cold water and stir again. Mix in sliced strawberries to the gelatin mixture, ensuring they are well coated.
  4. Pour the vibrant strawberry mixture over the cream cheese layer, making sure it’s evenly distributed. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving, allowing the layers to set beautifully.

Notes

Be sure to use room temperature cream cheese for easier mixing and a smooth texture.
