  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped macadamia nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually blend this into the creamed mixture, being careful not to overmix.
  5. Fold in the white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
