A delicious recipe for blackened salmon that is quick, easy, and bursting with flavor from the blackening spices.

Ingredients

  • 2 Salmon fillets
  • 1 tablespoon Blackening spice (cajun seasoning)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • Lemon wedges for serving
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Coat the salmon fillets with olive oil and sprinkle with blackening spice, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Add butter to the skillet and let it melt.
  4. Sear the salmon skin-side down for about 3-5 minutes on each side.
  5. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

For best results, ensure the skillet is hot before adding the salmon. Adjust blackening spice according to taste.
