Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of crescent roll dough
  • 2 packages of cream cheese (8 oz each)
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/4 cup of additional sugar (for topping)
  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C), setting the stage for a baking wonder that will fill your kitchen with irresistible aromas.
  2. Roll out the crescent roll dough in a greased baking dish, forming an even layer to act as the delicious base of your cheesecake bars.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and egg until the mixture is smooth and creamy, embodying all the flavors of a traditional cheesecake.
  4. Spread the rich cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll base, allowing those cheesecake dreams to blossom.
  5. Roll out another layer of crescent roll dough on top of the cream cheese filling, sealing in all that creamy goodness and preparing for the oven’s magic.
  6. Brush the melted butter over the top layer, then sprinkle generously with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
  7. Slide your dessert into the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the entire dish turns a golden brown.
