Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 green onion, sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Sauté the Ground Beef: In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
  2. Infuse with Garlic: Drain excess fat and add the minced garlic, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
  3. Whisk Together the Sauce: In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and ginger. Pour this mixture over the beef, stirring well to combine.
  4. Let the Flavors Marry: Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and coat the beef delectably.
  5. Serve with Love: Serve the beef mixture over cooked rice and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
