Delightful little morsels of buttery caramel, silky chocolate, and crunchy pecans that transform any day into a celebration.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel candies
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • Sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the pecan halves on a baking sheet and toast them for 5-7 minutes until fragrant and slightly golden.
  2. Combine the caramel candies with the tablespoon of milk in a saucepan over low heat. Stir gently until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Create small clusters of toasted pecans on a parchment-lined baking sheet and pour a spoonful of caramel over each cluster.
  4. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave or a double boiler until smooth and shiny, then drizzle over the caramel-covered pecans.
  5. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over the chocolate drizzle while it’s still wet.
  6. Let the turtles cool and set for about 15-20 minutes before serving.
