A delightful blend of tender beef, perfectly cooked noodles, and colorful vegetables, tossed in a savory sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Yakisoba noodles
  • 1 lb beef (sliced thinly)
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (like cabbage, carrots, and bell peppers)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon mirin (optional)
  • Green onions (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Yakisoba noodles according to the package instructions, usually just a few minutes. Once tender, drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat, allowing it to get nice and hot.
  3. Add the sliced beef to the skillet, spreading it out into a single layer. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  4. Toss in the mixed vegetables and continue to stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes. You want them to be tender-crisp, allowing their vibrant colors to shine.
  5. Gently fold in the cooked Yakisoba noodles along with the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and mirin (if using). This is where the magic happens as everything melds together.
  6. Toss everything together to combine thoroughly, making sure the noodles are heated through and coated with the sauce, infusing every bite with flavor.
  7. Taste and season with salt and pepper to your liking. Remember, the sauces already bring a level of saltiness, so adjust wisely.
  8. Serve hot, beautifully garnished with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds for that extra crunch.
