Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  3. Combine the wet ingredients in another bowl: beat the eggs and add the milk, oil, and vanilla extract.
  4. Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined; some lumps are okay.
  5. Prepare the waffle iron by greasing it with non-stick spray.
  6. Cook the batter in the waffle iron until golden and crispy, about 3 to 5 minutes.
  7. Serve warm with toppings such as maple syrup, whipped cream, or fresh fruits.
