Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs

  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Tonkatsu sauce (for serving)
  • Lemon wedges (for garnish)

  3. Dredge each chicken breast in the all-purpose flour.
  4. Dip the floured chicken into the beaten eggs.
  5. Coat each chicken breast thoroughly with the breadcrumbs.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  7. Fry the chicken for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
  8. Remove the chicken from the pan and drain on paper towels.
  9. Serve with tonkatsu sauce and lemon wedges.

Notes

For optimal crispiness, use a deep frying thermometer and consider adding spices to the flour for extra flavor.
