Juicy Greek lamb burgers with feta and fresh herbs, topped with tzatziki sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Burger buns
  • Tzatziki sauce
  • Lettuce, tomato, and onion for toppings

Instructions

  1. Combine the ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, breadcrumbs, crumbled feta cheese, chopped mint, red onion, egg, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is well combined.
  2. Form the burger patties: Once mixed, form the mixture into burger patties. Make them a bit larger than you think.
  3. Preheat the grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
  4. Toast the burger buns until slightly crispy.
  5. Assemble the burgers by placing a lamb patty on each toasted bun and topping with tzatziki sauce, lettuce, tomato, and onion. Serve immediately.
