Crispy wonton pockets filled with a creamy crab mixture, bringing the nostalgic flavors of takeout right to your kitchen.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 6 oz crab meat, drained and shredded
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 package of wonton wrappers
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Combine the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce. Mix until well combined.
  2. Prepare the Wontons: Place a spoonful of the mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
  3. Seal the Wontons: Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water and fold to form a triangle, sealing tightly.
  4. Heat the Oil: Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the Wontons: Fry the wontons in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Drain Excess Oil: Remove and drain the fried wontons on paper towels.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Serve hot with sweet and sour sauce or soy sauce for dipping.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. To reheat, place in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes.
