A delightful blend of sweet and savory salmon glazed in a honey garlic marinade.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Create the Irresistible Marinade: In a small bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring each piece is coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the Grill or Oven: Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the Salmon: Remove the salmon from the marinade and shake off any excess. Cook each fillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
  5. Thicken the Leftover Marinade: Pour the leftover marinade into a small saucepan and bring it to a boil. Let it simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Prepare for Presentation: Serve the salmon drizzled with the thickened marinade, and garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

Pairs well with jasmine rice and steamed vegetables. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
