- 9 cups rice cereal
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- ½ cup peanut butter
- ¼ cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Measure the rice cereal in a large bowl.
- Melt the chocolate mixture in a saucepan over low heat with chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter.
- Stir in the vanilla extract after removing from heat.
- Coat the rice cereal by pouring the chocolate mixture over it and mixing gently.
- Prepare the powdered sugar coating in a resealable bag.
- Shake the bag until the cereal is coated with powdered sugar.
- Cool the mixture on wax paper.
Notes
For a smoother chocolate coating, keep the heat low to prevent burning. Feel free to add nuts or M&Ms for added texture.
