Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (elbow or rotini)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: pickles for garnish

Instructions

  1. Brown the beef in a large pot over medium heat until browned. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
  2. Stir in the beef broth, milk, ketchup, mustard, and pasta. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and cover. It’ll simmer for about 10-12 minutes until the pasta is tender.
  3. Stir in the cheddar cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Serve hot, garnished with pickles if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding fresh herbs or spice it up with red pepper flakes. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
