A refreshing Raspberry Sorbet that captures the essence of summer with the sweet and tangy flavors of fresh raspberries.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
  2. Blend the fresh raspberries until smooth. Strain through a fine sieve to remove seeds for a silky purée.
  3. Mix the raspberry purée with the cooled syrup and lemon juice to enhance flavor.
  4. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to instructions, or freeze in a shallow dish, scraping every 30 minutes until fully frozen.

Notes

Store leftover sorbet in an airtight container; it stays fresh for about a week. Let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping if it becomes too hard.
