A simple and delicious Sheet Pan Lemon Salmon recipe where salmon and asparagus roast together, infused with lemon and garlic.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 lemons (one sliced and one juiced)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pound asparagus, trimmed
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C), ensuring it’s nice and hot for an even roast.
  2. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on a sheet pan. Drizzle them with olive oil to keep the fish moist and flavorful.
  3. Add the minced garlic, the juice of one lemon, salt, and black pepper. Gently toss everything together to coat the salmon thoroughly.
  4. Arrange the trimmed asparagus around the salmon. Place the lemon slices on top of the salmon fillets for an added zing.
  5. Roast everything in the oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the asparagus is bright and tender.
  6. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Use fresh herbs like dill for enhanced flavor. Substitute asparagus with seasonal veggies like broccoli or zucchini.
